Throughout most of the early readings, the authors seem to hint at the futility of arguing with people. We know things like confirmation bias, motivated reasoning, the Dunning-Kruger Effect and the Backfire Effect all impede constructive debate. With that being said, your task is to compose an argument in response to the following question(s):
Should we argue with people if we have a difference of opinion?
If yes, why and how can we make the argument productive? If not, why not?
Your essay must also be divided into the following sections with the subheadings formatted properly (Center aligned and in all caps):

CONCLUSION
You are also required to cite from at least one of the readings we will have covered by the essay due date. If you cite Dunning, click on the article’s title and cite it as a website. If you’re citing Schulz, cite the book (all of the information is there). The Works Cited page does not count towards the word requirement.
