there’s two discussions from my group you need just to respond to one of them.
1) I think the most probable function for Stonehenge for the people from the Neolithic period was that it was an ancient burial sight. There were bones that were found at the site that also showed signs of cremation. I believe this is good evidence of Stonehenge acting as a cemetery, but it could have still been anything else from a sun calendar to a meeting place.
2) From the bones buried around the base I believe that Stonehenge served as a graveyard. There is evidence of another stonehenge, but made of wood close by, and there are theories that state this was the circle of he living while Stonehenge was the circle of the dead. However, due to the unique Bluestone used that would have been brought over 100 km from Wales, I also believe there is credability in the theory that Stonehenge was a place of magical healing, as magic was associated with the rare Bluestone used.
