The transfer of training is the process where by the knowledge and skills learnt at a training session is conveyed to the job and leads to improvement in job performance. Peer support and supervisor support is important in this process because there encouragement will help to build confidence and motivate the individual. Their support will motivate the individual to want to take additional training in different subject areas, and help the individual to feel comfortable in coaching and transferring their knowledge to their colleagues.

The Support of supervisors and peers are important to the transfer of training, because the knowledge that individuals will receive from both parties will help in their knowledge and enhancement of skills for that job role or position. Both parties can work simultaneously together with playing a major role in that individuals training. The supervisor can brief the trainee on what’s expected in this job position or role., They can cover the rules and regulation as well.
