Assignment: Research the history of health education and health promotion in America. Start with our text, use the library resources, and find good and valid information on the history of the field. Consider the following as you look for information and write your paper:
- How and why did the field develop?
- Who are some key leaders and what did they contribute?
- Where is the field now?
- How has the direction changed over the years?
- What is the anticipated future of the field?
- What types of degrees/certificaitons do you need to work in the field?
Once you have completed your research, you need to write a paper (minimum of 2 pages double spaced) on the history of the field.
