In your reading this session, you have undoubtedly come across some ideas that you are familiar with, or have experienced in your life, as well as new ideas. The purpose of these short journal entries is for you to reflect upon and internalize your reading assignment, as well as begin to understand and recognize how you have interacted with theology to this point in your life, if you have at all. You are responsible for creating a short journal entry that covers the following questions:
- Select one or two ideas from your reading and discuss how you have seen or encountered them in your life thus far. Be specific with both the ideas and your own personal experiences.
- What is one new thing you learned from your reading this session?
- What is one thing that you still dont understand from your reading this session?
Your journal can be done as a short written assignment of no more than 1-2 pages double-spaced and formatted according to APA standards. Your journal can also be done as a short, 5-7 minute video journal uploaded directly in the assignment.
