2. What role do artists have in cities?

Throughout the history of humans, most of the places of the population were rural and the expansion of the human mind and way of thinking began in the establishment of urban areas, known as cities. South of Iraq was the birthplace of the first urban city named Uruk, the idea was to create a city center that would bring together the nearby rural areas. The same idea was applied to the creation of Rome, but for the purpose of highlighting the face of the Roman Empire and in greater detail, such as gardens, houses, and Senate palaces. Artists had a great role in putting a lot of perceptions that helped in the establishment of some cities refuted some buildings in the cities of Europe constructed from some ideas of artists. Also, their role was prominent in giving ideas of decoration in public places or use artistic sculptures and they helped in decorating palaces or museums through paintings. Arts It was indirect publicity for many cities such as Paris, we find millions come to tourism and many of them because of art pieces embody the porter of the city or paintings found in the city’s museums. Art returns to serve humans in other parts of the world such as paintings painted to embody life and its way in Tokyo where the coexistence, peace, and unity among the Japanese is highlighted, it is the artists’ message to society. Julie Nelson Davis, Professor of Japanese Art at the University of Pennsylvania said the paintings were the most famous to describe people’s lives in Tokyo and their happy way of living. At the end of the video, we see that art was and still is the main role even in our era of technology
